NRE Property Group, LLC assisted in the anchor tenant leasing and redevelopment of Piedmont Market Place Phase 1 (85,000 sf).  The project included the sale of the former Kmart building (65,000 sf) to Kohls Department Store and the relocation /redevelopment of Tractor Supply. The project included the renovation of the Kmart buildings (Kohls) and all new site improvements.  NRE then facilitated the sale of Phase II (45,000 sf of vacant space plus one outparcel) to Atlanta based Halpern Enterprises.  NRE represented Halpern in procuring anchor tenants Ross Stores and Ulta Beauty in Phase II.  The project was completed in October 2018.

Kohl's opens Greer store Sunday

Inventory and the finishing touches are going in on a new Kohl's department store set to open at 9 a.m. Sunday at Piedmont Marketplace shopping center on West Wade Hampton Boulevard in Greer, where the new tenant is expected to spur further development.

A grand opening celebration will be held Sept. 26, five days after the store actually opens its doors to customers.

"We're very excited," said Kohl's district manager Phillip Daniels. "We've definitely done the right thing in building a store there, I'll tell you that. Probably one of the things I'm most proud of working for Kohl's is we take the time to listen to our customers. A lot of feedback from the customers, the community and the other stores really kind of tells us where a store is needed. We heard the customer telling us they need a Kohl's in Greer pretty loud and clear."

Pendleton Street Baptist Church has finalized the sale of three acres on South Main Street in Greenville that will be developed into a multifamily community.

Marty Navarro, managing member of NRE Property Group, represented the church in the sale, which involves property on the corner of South Main and Rhett streets and Perry Avenue.

Terms weren’t disclosed.

The property is across from Fluor Field, home of the Greenville Drive baseball team.

CBRE, together with NRE Property Group, arranged the sale of 400 Church St., a vacant development site in downtown Greenville. The property is situated on the corners of North Church Street, Beattie Place and North Street, across from Christ Episcopal Church and The Bon Secours Wellness Arena. Kana Gateway, LLC, acquired the 1.83-acre property for $3 million.
